Is now in its 15th year of development and is the premier
care management system designed to save you time and money whilst providing
absolute evidence of care delivered
With over 40 integrated routines, ResiData unlike other systems is Care Based
not Accounts Based. Although an accounts interface is included for billing and
pay role the
main emphasis is Quality of Care and detailed Staff records and systems.
Some
of the benefits of using Residata:
Quantifying benefits is greatly dependant on the individual home and their
particular quality of staff, but in general the main areas can be defined as
time saving and security.
Daily records and reports are single entry with multiple
output.
Many reporting activities, Complaints, Accidents etc involve multiple
paperwork entry.
For example, when you make an accident
report in ResiData, not only are the correct accident documents created by the
system but the report detail is automatically entered into the Residents/Staff
members daily report module as well as the home Diary and end of shift report.
Daily reports on each Resident are often standard text or phrases and can
involve multiple repeat writing on each Residents record.
As well as full cut and paste facility and
Phrase Book which allows a single report to be keyed and saved ResiData has a
global or select Service User option which allows a single report to be placed
on multiple files. This reduces writing time to once only for many Residents.
Searching for
documents, reports for a particular period or aspect of care is not only
tedious but in many instances the records are not where you want them when you
want them. Some modes of management means
that they cannot be stored necessarily in one place.
ResiData not only groups ALL records and
reports but allows instant retrieval, searching for any selected period,
subject or aspect of care. A case history report for someone who may need to
go to Hospital can be prepared and printed for any historical period of time
within minutes.
Medication stock recording checking and reordering can involve many hours
of work.
Residata has full medication stock records
tracking daily allocation and exceptions on a 28 day cycle and allows a full
stock reordering/min quantity reports to be generated at any time.
End of shift or handover:
Many homes lose
significant time at handover passing information from one shift to another.
Every action, report, Care Plan amendment,
assessment, schedule result etc. entered into ResiData is automatically
transferred and recorded in the End of Shift Report in Date/Time order,
allowing efficient handover without long meetings to transfer information.
Actions such as assessments reviews, careplan reviews and scheduled
activity of care have to be remembered by staff and/or looked up on Service
User case notes.
All such actions in ResiData have a defined
review period and the system automatically reminds and allows Printed reports
to detail the daily activities needed to be carried out.
Staff and roster modules:
ResiData currently has a flexible roster
system allowing users to define shift patterns for each member of staff and
sort them by location category and grade or alternatively a roster planner
allowing duty profiles to be created and subsequently recalled and populated.
The resulting roster data can be freely edited allowing absence, worked hours and shift
changes to be recorded.
Home Administration
ResiData has an occupancy module that
records Bed State, earned and lost revenue, Nominal roll, Discharge list and
full occupancy data including care commission reports. Incident/Accident
modules, Complaints/Compliments module, Training/Course module, home stocks
and asset maintenance.
Areas of Security:
Security falls into two areas, that of
keeping records safe and confidential and that of being able by audit trail to
show that not only does the home comply within regulatory requirements on
records but that all aspects of care have been delivered to the resident and
can be reproduced at the click of the mouse.
ResiData has User level Module security to
allow only those authorised to access records and strict item by item
permission security. (NB Demo user automatically has FULL access rights)
Because the system is fully interactive,
i.e. you create a schedule and the system requires a result, all aspects of
care delivered are chronologically recorded.
With the entry being computerised the need
to keep case notes/ records available for those delivering the care whilst at
the same time allowing any Authority or person who needs to see the
information to also have access at another location is possible. Further,
because it is recorded on the system it is in a legible form and assuming a
basic back up system is deployed, cannot be accidentally lost damaged or
destroyed.
ResiData has advanced Date security logging
all times and dates of entry automatically and will not allow back dating of
items or the system date to be changed. This ensures contiguous real time
entry of records.
Other Features.
Residata already has interfaces to Sage
accounts for Billing Items and the capability of file transfer in various
formats. User requirement for data transfer routines vary considerably and so
these tend to be supplied as a add on to your specification at only a small
charge. All reports and printouts can be modified by users with the built in
report editor.
The system allows a high degree of user
configuration on various field names, headings etc. to allow the system to
close match your current terminology. As a windows program, Residata allows
appending of photographs and other documentation with full OLE facility.
